November in Review

Guess where we went for Thanksgiving?

I'll give you a hint...

That's right, TEXAS!

(Or, the Promise Land as some refer to it.)

Granbury was delightfully decorated for Christmas.

We got to spend time with Mama, Papa, and Nanny.

The boys got to go to the Dallas Baptist University Homecoming

basketball game with Julie, Chad, and Grandma Shirley.

Julie and Chad did a great job keeping the boys in line, especially Conner. He was dancing in the aisles during half-time, and he told Julie he learned it from his Mama. I don't know where he got such an idea, but the boys had a great time.

The boys played with their cousins in Dallas. (Those are not real weapons, by the way.)

They're not in the jungle. They're just naturally attracted to trees. I think they spent all weekend climbing in the trees, or chopping them down. I'm not completely sure.

Back to DBU for more basketball.

(We couldn't resist a picture at DBU.)

It is afterall where we met, and where he proposed to me!

This is my favorite statue at DBU.

I love the way the school focuses on being servant leaders, and that is what this statue depicts.
I don't know why Conner was saluting.

We spent Thansksgiving day with family. Grandma Shirley made a special dessert for Conner since he has food allergies. I don't think she meant for him to eat it all at once though.

There was so much more, but that will be for another day.

God is good, and we are thankful for His many

blessings on Thanksgiving!
