Little Boys, Rhinos, and Dimes

To my boys,

There's a rhinocerous in my dryer

One of many charms I find

Each day I do a load of laundry

I know not what will be left behind.

One day it's a candy wrapper

Another a penny and a dime.

The next day I find a rhinocerous

Just a reminder of these boys of mine.

I know these little treasures

Last only a short while,

So while there's a rhino in his pocket

I'll thank God for this time.

God thank you for little treasures

I find them here and there.

Sometimes I sigh and tire

From picking them up everywhere.

But God, I know these treasures

Are mine only for awhile.

Thank you for blessing my life

With little boys, rhino's and dimes.

Love, Me
