When he came home from preschool today, he said, “Mom, will you teach me to paint?” So, we got out the paint brush and paints, and away he went. Apparently the brush technique wasn’t quite what he was looking for, because when I walked out of the room, he got out a paint palette, paints, and glue, and decided that finger painting was much more his style. So, I got to clean up this…
To get into this, he had to climb up onto the dryer, get into the school supply cabinet, and pick out supplies that clearly say, "Stay out of school supplies." Oh well, he can't read yet.
My mom has always told me that fingerprints around the house are a blessing. It means that children are there. But, I'm not sure this is what she had in mind. What do you think?
