Is it just us, or is it just the time of year that our homes are "all things science fair." From the time in October when we receive our science fair paperwork from the school, until late January, it's kind of like a season, like football. You know, science fair season. Research to be done, books to be checked out, determining the hypothesis...
The first year, it was like taking a foreign language. What is an abstract anyway?
But as the years have gone by, it's a highly anticipated time for the boys. It's kind of a right of passage when you're finally old enough to get to participate in "The Science Fair."
So, for now, we're boiling water and taking readings, and researching. A few more weeks and science fair season will be over. Then we will all say, "Next year we will start during the summer, or do the project over Christmas break," and we will have grand ideas of how to make it easier. Then next year will roll around, and we won't do any of those things, and we will all be up until midnight the night before it's due. But, I think that's part of the fun. So "Happy Science Fair Season" to you all.
