Eye Stickers Required

Mmm hmmm. He did wear eye stickers to therapy this week. When we got out of the car to go into therapy, he had these football eye stickers on. Since NOTHING surprises me with this boy, I let him wear them in.

Ever since he has been in the hospital, we have had to explain to him that this is all about football rehab. Conner has always been about being in character, so we have had to tell him this is all about becoming a better football player. You know, famous football players take steroids to build big muscles, thus the need for steroids. Professional football players have to go to physical therapy to rehab after the games, especially for injuries, thus the need for physical therapy. In the hospital, I would massage his right hand and arm when he couldn't move them, and to get him to let me, I would tell him I was his trainer, and that's what we needed to do to keep his muscles in shape.

So, he's all about it. His therapists have been WONDERFUL working with this bundle of energy and silliness. We love The Children's Therapy Team. They are a pure blessing to work with, and Conner continues to improve each week. God is so good!
